Every Child Matters

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day.
Today, I wear my orange shirt to honour the children who never came home, the survivors, their families, and their communities.
It is a day to remember. A day to listen. A day to acknowledge the painful history of residential schools and the lasting impact they carry.
Reconciliation is not a single day of reflection โ it is an ongoing responsibility. My hope is that each of us continues to learn, to honour, and to walk toward truth with compassion.
